Smack dab in the middle of the covid lockdown, I started a new agency in the US called Special with founding client, Uber Eats.

Our first piece of work launched the “Tonight I’ll Be Eating” campaign in North America by pitting two iconic franchises against each ofther - Star Trek vs Star Wars - giving the world a nergasm in the process.
EAT LOCAL SUPER BOWL
After a successful launch, we were asked to make the first Super Bowl campaign for Uber Eats. Coming off a tough year, we didn’t want to just entertain, we wanted to be purposeful as well. So we decided to help all the local restaurants on the app that were hit so hard by the lockdown. “Eat Local” was born and who better to bring it to life than the original local access heroes, Wayne and Garth. Selfishly, reuniting Mike Meyers and Dana was a highlight for this fan boy.

For last year’s Super Bowl, Uber Eats wanted to tell the world they now deliver more than just things you eat. But their name wasn’t exactly helping matters. So we leaned into the problem and made it the cornerstone of the idea.
