EXPEDIA - FIND YOUR UNDERSTANDING
I led the pitch that won the Expedia account in 2012. The premise was simple as it was powerful. Travel isn’t about changing places. It's about finding the things that change you. The “Find Yours” campaign was so rich and new for the category back then. Lots of good work came from it. This is one of my favorite stories, because, like all good stories, it’s true. Artie’s trip to California broadened his perspective about his daughter marrying another woman. Then, a few years later, when a social worker paid the couple a visit to see if they would be “fit” to raise a child they actually carried and gave birth to, they played this film for her. The social worker cried, closed her book and the rest is history.
